The Fruit Basket Inn is located in the Town of North Manchester, Indiana in Northeast Indiana in proximity to Fort Wayne, Indiana’s second largest city. The Fruit Basket Inn opened in 1986 by Randy and Sharon Fruitt.
After 25 years owning and operating the Fruitt Basket Inn, Randy and Sharon sold the business to Eileen & Robert Sklar. Today, the Fruit Basket Inn offers a cozy place to stay, a friendly environment, and amazing breakfasts. This bed and breakfast is located in the heart of downtown North Manchester.
Eileen’s Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Father all grew up in North Manchester and Wabash. With 5 generations in Manchester, Eileen and Robert would often visit family and would stay at the Fruitt Basket Inn. When Randy & Sharon decided to sell, Eileen expressed her desire to become an inkeeper, a life long dream! Taking Ownership in 2010, the Sklar’s decided to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the Inn and keep the place they used to stay while visiting as an active B&B.
